"Colorectal examinations"

About: St George Hospital

(as the patient),

I have been advised that I should have a colonoscopy. I have been told that the procedure may not be carried out by a qualified surgeon and the trainee performing the procedure may or not be supervised. Is this correct?

Thanking you.
