"Becoming a mother is supposed to be a happy time."

One of the nurses was so grumpy that I felt they made my hole experience of giving birth and becoming a mother was ruined because of this women.

I had an unplanned emergency C section. The first day I buzz the buzzer to get help so I could pick up my child because I didn't have the strength - she then turns around and says you need to do it yourself, eventually you have to do it and that she had another patient to look after. I then said my baby needs a nappy change, she then said where are your things, you should have brought them in, and I felt she was really nasty about it.

Then I put the blinds down to make my section dark so I could sleep - she comes and opens the blinds and says that she needed natural light and that this is not a private hospital and that it's there policy to open blinds if they want too. ? ? ?

I'm absolutely disgusted that this woman still has a job and is someone people trust for help.
