About: Shanty Creek Residential Rehabilitation Facility

(as a service user),

When I came to Shanty Creek, I had a bad addiction to ice and had been in and out of jail for crime that helped feed my addiction. I also had lost everyone that I loved including my kids and family.

Since entering Shanty Creek I have managed to detox for a short period of time which has allowed me to think of my future and a more positive future. I have gained my physical fitness back and I have managed to get full time employment for the rest of my life, I also have my loved ones back and have got in contact with my kids. I am a young adult and thought that my life would never change but it has and I'm happy and moving forward and made the change I needed to live a normal healthy life. I've also started to do courses to proceed with the future I'm chasing. Thank you, that is my story.
