Recently I had a Gastroscopy. Prior to the procedure a nurse rang me and went through everything in detail and answered my questions. I felt the staff were so caring and did a great job in explaining the procedure to me. On the day of the procedure I was given warm blankets and bucket loads of care. I was given a folder upon discharge that contained information about the findings and advice on how to obtain results from the biopsy. A few days after the procedure a nurse rang me to check I was feeling okay. The hospital did a great job and made me feel looked after and safe in the knowledge that I was in good hands.
