"Admission to Pemberton District Hospital"

About: Pemberton Hospital

(as the patient),

Attended the emergency department as a precaution due to experiencing initial symptoms of a previous seizure. Due to the condition of the access road and the time it would take for an ambulance to arrive, after consultation with the hospital, it was decided to attend the emergency department in case a seizure did eventuate.

The hospital staff were fantastic; very professional, thorough and caring. Notified the doctor of my arrival and he attended immediately. Was admitted overnight as a precaution and for observation. Nursing staff were thorough and kept me informed of all issues and monitored me throughout the night. Following a visit from the doctor the following morning and a blood test, I was allowed to return home. A follow up appointment with the doctor arranged to discuss the results of the blood tests.
