"Marvellous care at Broome Hospital"

We recently went to Broome to visit, and on my first day there I fell very ill. Over my visit, I had to go to the ED 3 times, and every time I was admitted to the hospital. They needed to do a number of tests and scans.

Across every visit, the care I received was amazing. From the domestic staff through to the nurses and the doctors, I could not fault the care. In the hospital everything was beautiful and clean. The food was also very good.

One of the doctors that cared for me, Dr Alex was so kind with his care that it made me feel like I’d known him my whole life. Even after I was released from hospital, he called personally to give me the test results, despite it being later in the night. He didn’t have to do that; he could have waited until the next day, but he didn’t and for that I am very appreciative.

One particular night I was there the hospital was really busy. The staff were running around trying to attend to everything, but not once during this time was there a drop in the quality of care. The nurses deserve a big pat on the back, they do a marvellous job.

It was amazing to see a country hospital doing such a great job. Thank you!
