"Emergency surgery"

About: Broome Health Campus

(as the patient),

A year ago, I could have died. I will be ever grateful to the staff at Broome Hospital, who recognised my life-threatening condition, rapidly gave me painkillers and had me in emergency surgery within just a couple of hours. During my recovery, I received impeccable care, provided with forethought, careful consideration and caring and cheerful manner. This made the process manageable and smooth, despite the severity of my condition. Many thanks to all staff at Broome Hospital.

Dear Grateful Broome resident,

I am very sorry to hear you have experienced such a serious illness, and hope that you have now fully recovered.

Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation. The team at Broome Hospital aim to always provide comforting, compassionate and respectful care and I am immensely proud of their ongoing successes in this endeavour. It is always appreciated when patients take the time to recognise the efforts of staff, and certainly adds to their satisfaction and morale. I will ensure they are all aware of your lovely words.

Thank you again, and I hope you remain well.

Regards
Margi
