"Efficient and professional treatment at Northam Hospital ED"

I presented to the Northam ED recently with my child to check and see if they had broken their arm.

My child was triaged very quickly, by a very professional and friendly nurse. The nurse called the doctor to the triage window quickly to inspect my child's arm to ensure that we could have x-rays requested/completed due to the time in the afternoon (very late afternoon).

We were seen for X-rays within the next 10-15 minutes. It would have been less than 10 minutes from having the X-ray, when we were taken through to view the X-ray and then to have the arm treated.

All staff in the ED and radiology were excellent. We were kept well informed and treated quickly and professionally by all staff.

I can highly recommend the staff at the ED to everyone. My child and I were very grateful and appreciative of all the staff, for making our experience as comfortable as possible.

We attended the very next morning for a further X-ray and were again treated so well. My child could relax during this whole experience, even though they were anxious and in pain, the staff were fantastic with my child and with me.
