"My Planned Activity Group experience"

About: Allied Health (Bass Coast Health)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I am quite elderly, mentally astute still (I hope), physically a little wobbly. I lost my husband after 61 years 5 years ago, and as my 3 children at that stage lived and worked overseas, I was somewhat isolated. Then PAG (Planned Activity Group) came into my life, what a difference, our carers were wonderful, bright, funny people who treated me as an intelligent being, not just an old woman. We have activities to keep the brain active, exercises to keep our bodies moving, outings in drives and lunches to places of interest.

My PAG friends and I agree our lives would indeed be poorer without PAG.

A thankyou seems inadequate, I honestly cannot think of anything I would change.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback about the PAG. We have had some wonderful feedback about this service and we agree that it is indeed very valuable. We are particularly blessed with the PAG staff and volunteers who are very committed, skilled and compassionate. We will be sure to pass your feedback onto them. I hope you continue to enjoy many more years of this service into the future.
