"Noise from Griffiths Point Lodge air con."

Dear humhum,

Thank you for your post about the noisy air conditioning/heating at GPL. I wasn't aware of the issue until I attended a staff meeting at the facility earlier this week and the staff raised it with me. After the meeting, I spoke to our Facilities Director and he tells me he has been investigating this issue for some months now and we have had the contractor out multiple times in the past months to try different solutions. You will probably know, this isn't a constant noise but comes on and off and just when we think we might have fixed it, it comes back again. The good news is that our very skilled Facilities Team have already organised for more contractors to visit the site this week to try to find another solution. At this point they are looking to put in place a new bypass line which they believe will provide a permanent fix, so please be assured that we will closely monitor the effectiveness of this solution.
