"Sydney Eye Hospital"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital

(as the patient),

I was admitted for Vitreoretinal Eye Surgery.

I had experienced retinal tears at the back of my eye which could result in a retinal detachment and loss of sight.

I have never seen a more professional and happy group of people in a work environment.

From the office staff to the triage nurses, floor nurses, eye doctors, ophthalmologists, theatre personnel and surgeon.

They were always smiling yet very efficient and professional in their performance of duty.

They made me feel comfortable and safe and also helped to alleviate any fears that I had in respect to the operation.
