"Stroke patient"

The day I had my stroke it just hit me, could not talk, knew what I wanted to say but couldn't say it, Walking was almost nonexistent. Got a friend to take me to the Frankston Hospital. Parking was a nightmare. Just get me in I said as good as I could. Once inside 5 to 10 min and they came to get me. After a lot of tests and scans I was told that I'd had a mild stroke. After about 4 hrs (I think) my speech came back. If I could walk I didn't know. Some hrs later I had a bed. The next arvo I was going home. Have nothing but praise and thank you to all Doc's and Nurses that looked after me. It has only been a short time since, but it takes time.
