I like my GP, but every time I want to book an appointment, it takes at least 2 weeks to get one. I don't know 2 weeks in advance that I am gonna be sick. I did have surgery recently and needed to get my stitches out ... they literally told me its gonna be 2 weeks ... (already had my surgery a number of days ago). So I definitely can't wait that long!  Of course you want to have your own GP who knows you and you trust the most, but every time I have to go somewhere else. I felt the lady on the phone was super rude as well.  Surely something has to change.

I am so sorry that your experience at Star Health was not as helpful as it could have been. As a team of health professionals Star Health is committed to providing the best possible service to our patients so I am very concerned that we appear not to have met your needs in a timely manner. So popular are our services that at the moment, we have had some challenges keeping up with the demand. I want you to know that we acknowledge that there is a problem with our wait times but we are currently fixing the problem. We are recruiting new Doctors to help with the demand for GP Services, so your patience is very well appreciated. You can remain confident that whatever the demand, Star Health will always spend the appropriate time with each & every patient. Appointments are available each day at our Prahran practice at 240 Malvern Road if this is an option for you. Again thank you for your feedback,
