"Accident requiring stitches."

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was pushed over, by accident, on the Wynyard Station concourse. I fell face forward and received a gash on my forehead. I went to Sydney Hospital, Emergency Dept, where I was treated by Dr Mark. He was fabulous, professional and caring. I had to have six stitches above my eyebrow ( right angles to my eyebrow) he did a fabulous job...he should be a plastic surgeon! !

Also my sight was checked by a really caring nurse, who took the trouble to get me some sandwiches and juice...Emmy? Amy?

Could you please make sure this is passed on.....especially to Dr Mark.

Dear Six Stitches

Thank you for using Patient Opinion to reflect on your experience in our Emergency Department after being accidentally pushed over at Wynyard Station.

It is pleasing to hear that you felt our staff were professional and caring, with special mention of Dr Mark and Nurse Amy. The Emergency Department staff really appreciated your positive feedback.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind regards

Carolyn
