A huge thank you to all the staff in the ED department for taking great care of my mum who recently had a fall at home. From her accounts of events she was well looked after and her care was thorough. She is feeling much better now.

Dear Thankful family member who lives 2 hours from Melbourne

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding the care your mum received in the Emergency Department at Maroondah Hospital following her fall at home.

This would have been a really difficult time for her, along with you her family (especially being a distance away) and I'm pleased she was well looked after.

All our terrific staff try as hard as they can to provide care in accordance with the Eastern Health values of kindness, respect and excellence and based on your feedback, this is the type of care your mum received. It will give me much pleasure to provide your comments to the Maroondah Emergency Department staff.

I'm so pleased she is feeling much better now as a fall at home can take a considerable toll for those we care about.
