"Getting my life back"

About: Logan House Residential Rehabilitation Facility

(as a service user),

I felt disappointed in myself for having to come back to rehab. Logan House made me see why I have drug dependency problems and gave me new tools to be able to live a clean and happy life.

Hello Logan Mudcrab,

I can understand your disappointment at needing to return to rehab. The feeling or thought is "all that work wasted". Yet that is not the case. Sometimes the disappointment enables us to look at our beliefs, patterns of life and our values in a new way or at another level. We are then able to find that critical piece information or insight that makes a major difference and helps us consolidate our earlier learning. This seems to be part of your experience in coming back to Logan House. That is a big step and good on you for your persistence and determination to move through the disappointment and refocus.

My best wishes go with you as you celebrate your clean and happy life.

Warm regards

Gerard
