"My phone call was not attended to."

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / 1 East (Ophthalmology)

(as the patient),

I phoned the Sydney Eye Hospital to notify them I was unwell and not able to attend an upcoming appointment. I waited for 18 minutes and 44 seconds and no one answered my call. At no stage was there any indication if my call had progressed in the queue or if indeed my call would ever be answered. 

Because they do not answer phone calls I will have to go into the hospital.
