Just wanting to say a big thank you to Jonathon, a technician at the Eye Clinic at Royal Perth Hospital.
I brought my dad in to have his eyes tested - he had a stroke about four years ago. He cannot read an eye chart, could not lean forward as he is in a wheelchair and struggles to hold his body and his eyes still for eye photos. I wasn't sure what the eye clinic would be able to do for him.
Jonathon was so very patient with my dad - it took about half an hour to get about six good pictures of Dad's eye with the laser machine. We had to prop Dad up with pillows to get him leaning forward and the nurse held his head still. Everyone was very encouraging and every time Dad didn't manage to stay still Jonathon was very calm and was happy to try again as if it was the first time we were doing it.
It was such a relief that we got the pictures and that we weren't told it was too hard.
Thank you again.
