"The fantastic staff in the ER saved my life"

About: Box Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Box Hill Hospital / Intensive Care Unit

(as the patient),

I arrived by ambulance. I must have been unconscious and in critical condition. I was suffering from a dangerously low sodium. And after stabalising me I was transported in the early hours of the morning to Box Hill ICU . Although I was ill and can't remember seeing the nurses & doctors, but I could hear their caring voices. I felt safe and knew I was in good hands. I can't thank them enough. For the care and life saving treatment they gave me. Thanks to the ambulance and medical staff that really looked after me. 🌞😐

Dear Caring voices

Thank you so much for providing your feedback on Patient Opinion. This must have been a really difficult time for you (even though you may not remember it all), but I was so pleased to read your comments about what you did hear and how that made you feel.

Eastern Health is really lucky to have amazing staff and your reflection of those within the Emergency Department and Intensive Care unit at Box Hill Hospital reinforce the great work they do each and every day. I will make sure the staff and managers of these areas are provided with your positive reflections. I will also provide your comments to the managers at Ambulance Victoria.

I trust you are recovering well Caring voices and wish you the best of health.

Kind regards

David
