About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Standing at the bus stop in Carrington Street, a large limb dropped from a tree onto my head. My husband took me to Sydney Hospital due to the location. I had never been and wasn't sure what to expect. It is small & due for a renovation, but the staff were welcoming and very professional.

 I only waited an hour for a doctor. A lovely young man who was a senior doctor. In my confusion of the events, I can't remember his name. He was so professional and calm and had a wonderful bedside manner. He cleaned me up and stitched up my head. The nurses were fantastic and efficient. I have to say overall, it was a good experience and I was so impressed with how these incredible people work so hard with a sense of humour and efficiency. Thanks so much for your amazing care and services.
