My mother-in-law was a long time resident of Gwen Hardie Lodge, first being admitted at low level and subsequently needing high care as her dementia progressed. She passed away peacefully at the home, with family close by and wonderful care from the staff. At all times they kept her comfortable and showed genuine affection towards her - we know that they really cared about her and this made everything a little easier for the family.
