"MRI for my child"

Due to a series of events, my child needed an MRI and was referred by the Orthopaedic Specialist to MIA Radiology at Cabrini.   My child was very anxious re the outcome and also of going into the machine. The Radiology Technician, Tran (hope I spelt that right) was absolutely amazing, she showed my child the machine, discussed how it worked and what it sounded like. She put on my child's favourite music through the headphones and allowed my child to keep their shorts and shoes on as they did not want to get in a gown. She allowed me to go into the room with my child and hold their leg to help keep them calm. She kept talking to my child and reassuring them and got the Radiologist to look at the scans while being performed to ensure they had enough scans to minimise the time my child was in the scanner. Thank you Tran, your thoughtfulness and understanding was greatly appreciated by myself, my husband and my young child,  who said the next day "that you were very nice".
