"My poor hospital experience."

About: Manly Hospital

(as the patient),

I was sent to Manly Hospital by my GP to rest my bowel after a partial obstruction. All these people had to do was put me on a drip. First, my name had been misspelled on a document, and the admissions team could not locate my patient record. When a doctor eventually saw me to ask me why I had come to Manly as Royal North Shore has all my previous admission info (and I thought gee wasn't I making it hard for them). After he appeared to grudgingly agree to give me a drip, in my opinion this same doctor refused to give me over the counter pain relief until my mother insisted. After being discharged I vowed to never set foot in the place again. As far as I'm concerned it was absolutely appalling.
