"Excellent care received at the Eye Hospital"

I was hit by a fern and felt as though something was under my eyelid. I really thought that my eye was perhaps scratched and that I would receive some antibiotics. Dr Oliver looked at both eyes thoroughly and discovered that I had a splinter embedded in one eye. He also examined the inside of my eye to ensure the splinter was only on the surface. He very carefully explained the procedure for removing the splinter and due to the nature of the splinter, he needed to exercise caution so that parts of the splinter would not break off and remain in my eye. The splinter was removed and my eye is healing nicely. I was given aftercare advice and encouraged to return if I had any symptoms that caused concern. 

I found Oliver to be extremely professional, caring and kind and I was so grateful to have been looked after so thoroughly. Thank you very much!
