"They gave me another chance at life."

Big heart problems. Several heart surgeons refused to help me as they thought what I needed was too dangerous. Dr Paul gave me a chance of life. He and Dr Emily with his theatre team replaced and repaired 3 valves in my heart. I am an elderly person and it is now 3 months since the operation. In my opinion, patients who complain about minor problems at St Vincent's need to get a life. They do amazing work and I thank them once again. I was a public patient and was in a 4 person ward  with 3 people who had had heart transplants and I was treated with care and kindness as we all were.
