"Visiting speech pathologist for my child"

About: Busselton Health Campus

(as a parent/guardian),

Our young child will be starting kindy next year and they are difficult to understand as they don't pronounce their sounds well. We have been involved in a group session with other children of a similar age. I have found that I have learned lots of techniques for helping my child so that they are constantly being helped through the week rather than just getting help for an hour a week.

Dear great techniques

Thank you for your post regarding Busselton Health Campus.

It is great to hear that you are finding the group speech therapy sessions helpful.

We aim to empower parents with the tools and knowledge necessary to support their children outside of the hospital environment, so I am glad to see that you are getting real benefit from these sessions.

I will pass along your recognition to the team.

Sincerely

Wendy McKinley
