My spouse had to have urgent heart surgery at the PA Brisbane.
Cancelled on the first scheduled day some four hours after admission.
My spouse then had the surgery. Should take four hours or so.
Told by admin staff procedure started mid-morning and assured several times that I would be rung once they were out of theatre - which by my calculations would have 4 hours ago.
It is now over 8 hours after they went in and no phone call, so I guess I am a widow.
Off to find a concrete wall to drive into.
