(as the patient),

After accidentally breathing in a foreign body, I was sent to Box Hill Hospital and ended up having a bronchoscopy.

Unlike any other hospital experiences, I was surrounded by care and respect.

The chatty porter who took me for my CT scan, the kind and apologetic night nurse and the specialist doctors on the ward, the theatre team nurses, anaesthetist and crew were fantastic. Even the surgeon was interactive. 

Most of all the awesome nurses on Ward 2 deserve thanks from my family and myself. Based on my experience, if you have to go to hospital, make it Box Hill Hospital - Eastern Health.
