"Daybed helpful for Pain Control"

(as the patient),

I was at the hospital having tests done concerning an obstruction within my stomach. I spent 5 days in bed. The service at the hospital is second to none and I have no complaints there. The reason for my comments, is to ask if it is possible to have a couple of daybeds around the corridors, as I found that by just lying down and closing my eyes I could reduce my pain input by at least 50% ?
