I had an operation at Box Hill Hospital very recently. The experience was so good and I cannot help to share my story.
Anyway the wait was a bit long. I arrived at the Admission office at 11:00 am and the anesthetics started 3:50pm. Dr. J, the anesthetists, after injecting some medicine through my vein, put a mask on my face, telling me it's 'oxygen to help me breath'. His face must look funny when I said "It's not oxygen. It smells. You lied!" After being affirmed it's an anesthetic gas by a nurse (I think her name was Thae), I went into a deep sleep. One and half hours later, I woke up to find myself in the observation theater, surrounded by a few beautiful nurses, each with a smiling face. Tamara, the nurse who looked after me, took measurement of my blood pressure every 10 minutes. She's so diligent! She also cheered me up by telling me how well the operation went, and other stuff. These nurses are just like angels!
I examined my belly. The cuts were small. Most importantly, my mojo was intact! Dr. Ben K(I'm not sure the spelling was correct), the surgeon, must have done a good job.
