My parent is a terminally-ill cancer patient. My parent stayed at Wantirna Health for Palliative Care. After two weeks of stay, I could see that my parent's condition had got worse. However, despite my protest the doctors discharged my parent. They were then discharged to Peter James Transition Care Program. My parent only stayed there for a few days, as in my opinion, it was not a suitable place to stay for a terminally-ill patient. We had to look for a private hospital for my parent to stay. Within two weeks my parent has deteriorated to the point of probable passing within a number of hours. It was very stressful that my parent had to endure two transfers considering that her conditions are not stable. Why the discharge?
"Stressful experience"
