"My appreciation of recent respite as full time carer of my elderly mother"

(as a carer),

I have been full-time carer of my gorgeous mother for some time now and apart from family members occasionally taking mum for short periods I have not used local services for respite. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone at every level who facilitated this much-needed break for me. Mum was beautifully cared for and I could get various aspects of my life back in balance all the while with the knowledge that mum was being looked after with care and dignity. To all of you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I am proud to hear of the warm welcome shown to you and that we were able to provide the treasured respite to both your mother and yourself as a carer.

WACHS Wheatbelt values the important role that family members play as carers and we are thankful to hear that you have benefited from the services that we provide.
