In the last couple of months I have had two visits to public hospitals and would like to express my thanks to the appropriate people concerned if at all possible.
Around Xmas I ended up at Manly Hospital after experiencing stroke like symptoms. But after a few days, significant tests and time from hospital staff they identified a type of temporary global amnesia. The care I received was comprehensive and all the staff were kind and forever patient while working under rather trying circumstances.
A number of days later I ended up in the Royal North Shore with a vision problem. I should perhaps mention here that I am quite elderly and my daughter accompanied me. We were there till about 6pm and my treatment was supervised by the intern ophthalmologist. I could totally understand why it all took rather a long time. There were so many people and I’m sure they were all given the same, wonderful treatment that I was. So would like to thank all the wonderful people that were involved and the system, in what could have been a very stressful situations.
"With enormous gratitude."
