My spouse was recently at the Emergency Department to see the Acute Care Team. She was then taken back to the same department by an ambulance the following night, as my spouse was trying to harm them-self. They were then discharged during the night while still under the influence. It would be in the records.
I have contacted the team at Prince Charles again and I believe all they have done is defend their actions and say that it was right to send my spouse home even though they still were feeling suicidal.
If something happens to my spouse because of what I believe is lack of actions, I believe it will be a public system failing my spouse. We have been working towards a Mental Health Plan, but in my opinion, the Acute Care Team does not help.
