After trying to self manage my sudden onset UTI at home I knew it wasn't working so made the decision to go to hospital (it was late 11 pm) to try and get some help. The Emergency Department had a few patients in it, with one who was pretty crook. The doctor (Cathy) was amazing and sympathetic. She even tested my urine, as the nurse (Mandy) was busy with the other patients. I felt cared for, listened to and told I did the right thing because if I left it until the morning it could have resulted in a kidney infection. I was given antibiotics and the results would be sent to my GP just in case. I was shown out the door by the orderly (Michael) who watched me get into my car (it was dark) just in case..I can't thank you enough, what great service....
"Excellent care"
