I had been diagnosed with shallow angle in both eyes by Specsavers in Belmont WA, who immediately referred me to RPH (Royal Perth Hospital). They initially gave me laser treatment in both eyes to attempt to relieve the pressure build up which was causing severe pain around the eye sockets. My situation continued to be monitored, until I had a severe and prolonged period of pressure pain, which signaled the need for surgery, which was booked one week after this attack.
I was filled with trepidation, but the staff at Bentley were professional and understanding with my individual fears, even though they carry out huge numbers of similar operations weekly. Everyone looked after me in a kind and courteous manner and I now feel so much less stressful about the need for two eye operation.
