I had a near-fatal dirt bike crash last year and was picked up by a great St John Ambulance crew and a great medical crew at Exmouth Hospital that saved my life and helped me. I was impaled by my dirt bike and shredded my spleen and kidneys in the process. A blood vein collapsed and they ended up cutting the main vein in my leg to give me life-saving blood. I had a broken left hip and a broken left arm and got screws in all of them. I also broke ribs and got a dirt bike to the brain. But I can't say enough about the great crew at Exmouth Hospital and I owe Dr Johannes and Dr Sue my life and the great nurses at this place. I was transferred to Perth for treatment to fix my broken body, but I returned a number of weeks later to thank the great crew.
