"Emergency Care"

About: Sale Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

Recently teenage child were involved in an MVA.

I had to drive 2 hours to get to Sale, however when I got to A&E, the NIC (nurse in charge) came out to reassure me my teenager was ok. They were just logrolling her and were busy with a head to toe assessment.

I worked in Trauma most of my life and ran an emergency service for many years, the treatment given to my child was outstanding and I could not fault the nurses and doctors, because they did a great job.

Also please thank the co-coordinators Jeff and Kate for being caring, professional and amazing.  Always willing to go the extra mile.  Hospital Management can be proud of their team

Dear Snuffies

It is very distressing for parents to receive a call about their child being involved in an accident, so it was wonderful that our Emergency Department staff provided you and your child with supportive and compassionate care during your time with us. It was great to hear your positive, meaningful and motivating comments about our staff. We are grateful for their commitment to our community and we will join you in thanking them for their dedication and expertise, and ensure your kind words are passed on to all our ED staff. I am sure our staff, particularly Jeff and Kate, will appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback and to know that they made such a difference in your experience with us.

Kind regards,

Denise McInnes
