I would like to express my sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all of the RT staff, trainee RT students and nurses at the Acacia Ward, along with Dr Taylor and her associates during my recent radiation oncology treatment for 5 weeks. Their support, encouragement, care and attention during this time helped make attending daily radiation sessions a lot less stressful and daunting. They are some of the most empathetic and fun health professionals that I have encountered during my treatment for breast cancer.
Thank you to all of the Cancer Council volunteers who took the time to sit and chat whilst I was waiting to commence my daily treatments. To have someone available and prepared to listen to any concerns, offer advice on treatments and services offered by the Cancer Council was a great comfort.
Thanks again to all involved.
