(as a relative),

I would like to say a big thank you to the Sydney Eye Hospital for the best care and attention they gave my husband on his emergency visit. He was diagnosed with a detached retina and was operated on the following day.

He was dealt with quickly and with compassion by everyone that looked after him.

Thank you to all the team of wonderful doctors, nurses and everyone that came in contact with my husband.

We have had a few appointments since then and everyone is very caring and makes you feel special :)

Staff in the Emergency Department, wards and the Outpatient Department have been shown your story. I am so glad to hear that your husband was treated with compassion and made to feel special, and trust that he will continue to make a speedy recovery from his detached retina.
