I was brought into the Sale Hospital Emergency Department recently via ambulance as a Category 1. This is my 5th reaction within 5 months and 12th in less than a year. I suffer from idiopathic anaphylaxis and have a number of other health conditions. As usual, I was scared but the efficiency and care given by Ambulance Victoria and the emergency team was amazing. I am becoming a bit of a frequent flyer and am always welcomed and looked after. I also really appreciate the care given to my family as it can be quite confronting and emotional seeing your child and sibling in that position. During my most recent visit, I had Alison, Kate and Sue, who I have had a number of times, which instantly made me feel calm knowing I was in good and professional hands. They know my story and what I can and cannot have due to my other conditions. I want to thank the emergency staff from the bottom of my heart for constantly going above and beyond to make sure I am safe and well. You all do amazing jobs and I am so lucky to have you all.
