"Blood tests at Box Hill Hospital"

About: Box Hill Hospital

(as the patient),

Most of us don't enjoy having a needle and giving blood. I particularly dislike it. Over the past month, I have had so many my inner elbows were feeling like pin cushions and sometimes it was painful.

So when I had to have more blood tests I told the nurse, Rusti, and to my delight she was extremely gentle, absolutely no pain and took the effort to chat away my fears. Thanks Rusti!

Dear Scooter,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and I am really pleased to hear that the nurse Rusti was gentle, that your needle was pain free and that she spent the time to take away your fears. These are the things that we place importance on at Eastern Health and it is always terrific to hear about staff who provide care in this way.

I will make sure to provide your feedback to Rusti. I hope that you are on the road to recovery and not having to undergo too many more blood tests.

Take care

Gayle
