"King Edward Memorial Hospital Outpatients"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital

(as the patient),

I was contacted by the mesh clinic nurse to say I had missed an appointment with my pain specialist. I did not receive any notification of this appointment. I find this to be very frustrating as now I have to wait again for a new appointment. I feel the administration of the mesh clinic is letting down patients and staff. Needs to be rectified immediately.

Dear Peanut,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I am sorry that you have had this experience with the Mesh Clinic which resulted in you not seeing the Pain Specialist.

I have spoken to the Co-Directors responsible for the Mesh Clinic and they have identified that we have had processing issues which has resulted in confusion with appointments. This is unacceptable and I apologise for the inconvenience caused to you personally.

We are rectifying the problems to ensure that this does not occur again.

Once again thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and I trust that your future experience with our Mesh and Pain services will be more positive.

Kind regards,

Graeme.
