Hi,
I have recently finished 8 weeks of cardiac rehabilitation at Angliss Hospital. I am writing to not only thank the staff and volunteers for their fantastic help and care during the process but also to recommend cardiac rehabilitation to anyone who has had a heart incident. Evidently many people choose not to go to rehabilitation. Having been through a program I can genuinely say that it is well worth the time and effort. I found many benefits to the program but probably the best for me was that my incident left me with a constant stream of questions that needed answering. Going to rehab twice a week for 8 weeks gave me constant easy access to very experienced people with the time and patience to talk me through these issues. I honestly believe rehab is the best preparation you can get for life after a heart incident!
