(as a relative),

I had occasion to take my wife to the ED at Peel Health Campus on the advice of her doctor. I must say that it was a very positive and professional experience. After completing the normal paperwork and seeing the Triage Nurse, we were taken in very promptly and by the time that my wife took to get into the hospital gown, there were 2 nurses and a doctor in the cubicle.   The nurses did their normal tests and set up an ECG whilst the doctor (Candice) questioned my wife about her issue. The doctor determined that my wife had passed the episode she has suffered and we were allowed to leave. All in all it was a good experience with friendly and efficient staff looking after us.   Big bouquets for the staff at the ED of Peel Health Campus.

Dear Nifty,

Thank you for taking the time to write to Patient Opinion about your experience in the emergency department at Peel Heath Campus. Any episode of illness is stressful and frightening. I am reading between the lines and assuming that your wife came to us with some sort of heart condition. This must have been very worrying for you both. It fills me with a great sense of pride to hear about the friendly professionalism of the staff. I will be very pleased to pass on your bouquet to the staff and particularly Dr Candice. I thank you again for letting me know about your good experience.
