"Margaret River Hospital"

About: Margaret River Hospital

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I've been a patient for over 100 days in the Margaret River Hospital waiting for a nursing home bed in either Augusta or Mirrambeena because this is where I've lived for most of my life. I get a bit depressed sometimes. On Anzac day the matron came and picked me up and took me to the Anzac service. It meant a lot to me as I spent 35 years in the fire brigade and marched regularly. I caught up with many old friends & it lifted my spirits.

Thankyou

Dear Moggie

Thank you for taking the time to write to us. I will pass on your message of thanks to our Matron (Marie) who I am sure will be delighted! I’m so glad that you enjoyed the ANZAC day service and that you caught up with many old friends. We are working hard on securing you a bed in either of those facilities and hope that by the end of this week we will have some good news for you.

Thanks again for taking the time to write to us, your words mean a lot.

Kind regards

Sandy Znidarsich
