I presented myself at Wonthaggi Hospital recently with numbness in my left arm and leg. I was immediately transferred to a cubicle whilst my daughter gave my details. My care over the next 2 days was amazing; nothing was too much trouble them kept me very informed. The staff were so helpful and good-humoured. I was transferred then to the Short Stay Unit where the staff monitored me regularly. I had a CT scan and ultrasounds. I wish to thank all the following staff: in triage, Jo; in emergency, Dr Nour, Pinto, Deepa, and Johnnie; in short stay, Dr Pam, Dr Anusha, and nurses Cleo, Chris, Fiona, and wheelchair driver Curtis; and at front reception, Sheryl - she gave us a map for Wonthaggi and directions to Bunnings and Coles. Thank you for all your kindness.
