"BlueCross Tarralla"

About: BlueCross Tarralla

(as a relative),

I would like to share how marvellous the team is at BlueCross Tarralla. My mother, who has Alzheimer’s disease, has been there for six weeks and from day one, the care and kindness they have shown to Mum (and me) has been unbelievable. I particularly want to single out Denise at reception, who has been so patient with me and all my questions. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she never makes me feel silly or uncomfortable – her blood is worth bottling! All of the personal care assistants (too many to name) are also just wonderful with Mum. Everyone, from the cleaners to the kitchen staff (Maria is gorgeous) cannot be faulted. They even set us up in the Dorset Room (private dining room) for a lovely Mother’s Day lunch and the food was delicious. Very quickly Tarralla has felt like home for all of us and given us great comfort knowing that Mum is receiving the very best care and attention. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you do. Manager Shirley and her team are very special people.

Dear Reassured

Firstly, please let me thank you for taking the time to write and share your story on your experience at BlueCross Tarralla. We really do appreciate your feedback and I will take great pleasure in sharing this further with our team at BlueCross Tarralla and in particular, Denise, Maria and Shirley.

We're so proud of the care which we provide to our residents and their loved ones and feedback like yours allows us to celebrate the great work which our staff do every day. Our private dining rooms are certainly very popular and do allow that special time and place for a special occasion. I hope you enjoyed a memorable Mother's Day lunch.

Secondly, I am so glad also that your mum has settled in well, this is often such a challenging time and to know that our staff have helped her and you during this process is most comforting for all of us. The transition can often take up to three months.

Thanks again Reassured for getting in touch and please do not hesitate to let Shirley or me know if there is anything we can help with.

Kind regards and sincere thanks ...

Alan Lilly
