(as a carer),

I want to thank the Carnarvon PATS staff for all they do for us. We are currently traveling back and forth to Perth for cancer treatment for my husband. The PATS system allows us to travel and stay with ease and peace of mind. We would find it prohibitively expensive to do this without the PATS. The staff at Carnarvon are open and friendly and go that extra mile. Thank you Teeka and Rachael. You do a great job in trying circumstances.

Thank you for taking the time to write and share your experience on Patient Opinion. The PATS team in Carnarvon certainly do a great job and I will take great pleasure in passing your lovely compliment on to Teeka and Rachael. The Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS) is a great initiative that provides a subsidy towards the cost of travel and accommodation for eligible WA country residents travelling long distances to seek certain categories of specialist medical services. The PATS team do a great job in coordinating the travel arrangements for our community who require specialist care and I'm so pleased that they have been able to assist you and your husband in accessing the services that he needs.
