"Our journey"

About: Bunbury Hospital

(as the patient),

Finding out for sure what l feared - Alzheimer's. My mum has it and a number of my relatives. I have it too, I suspected as much. My wife has vascular dementia, so overall we began a positivity campaign. We involved our children and took the issues head on. Our future plan is a bit different than when we retired.

Dr Ramesh and the team did all they could to re-enforce this perception.

We are comforted that this group of caring people will take this journey to its inevitable end. Enjoy the ride

Update posted by ALZ (the patient)

I joined the McCusker Foundation Research Project about 2 years ago with a view to early detection, now The Alzheimers Research Foundation, and I may be eligible for clinical trials. As soon as you are aware or diagnosed, become active in helping in whatever way you can to benefit yourself and all other souls affected by this curse. Keep positive. I may be able to play a part in finding a cure, and so may you.
